Shifting body schedule

Thanks to a few naps, I was able to work my new Wed/Thur day-job shifts reasonably well. The problem seems to be that now my body's confused as to what its correct rhythm should be. I may have to force the 4am bedtime on my days off just to regulate myself for the two days that I have to actually work until 1:30. {sigh}

My day-job is asking me to undergo some additional certification. I'm not entirely certain of the point, personally, but they're paying me rather well to do this, and so I've been preparing. One component is a presentation, which I'm perfectly fine with, but I just timed a sample yesterday and found that it's running way too long, so now I have to trim.

Cat Lady is having foot surgery yet again on Friday (for the fourth time in recent years, plus more earlier). I'm looking to move the modem/router/VoIP equipment by about 20 feet so that they'll be more in line-of-sight to the bedroom where she'll be stuck. There's actually a coax line right there already, but when I traced things down in the basement, it appears that several older lines, including this one, are no longer connected. That in itself shouldn't be a problem, except that it looks like when some insulation was sprayed in the basement recently, it covered the point(s) where any cables are attached, i.e., no coax connections are exposed. {sigh}

Once the sun rises, I'm going to take a look to see if there's another answer on the outside of the house.
